ABOUT THE BOOK:
St. Louis homicide detective and Vietnam Vet, Valentine Snow, haunted by the war and memories of a beautiful Vietnamese girl, is on the trail of a serial killer stalking the streets.
All the victims have one thing in common: they were all stabbed and a cryptic message was written at each of the murder scenes.
The case is going nowhere with no one suspect linked to all the murders. Then Val's long-time partner Jack Miller is killed and he gets a new partner (a female): Tony Adams. She starts to break the case by discovering a common link between the murder victims.
